There will be no lane closures or hauling past noon Thursday, July 3 and no work on site Friday, July 4 for the holiday weekend.

Traffic Impacts:

WIS 29 – Off and on ramps at 50th Avenue closed to September 2025. Single lane closures with a speed limit reduction between County X and County J interchanges.

50th Avenue – Closed between 160th and 171st Streets to September 2025. Traffic is utilizing the temporary roadway west of County J intersection. Closed east of County J intersection to September 2025. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.

County Road J – Shoulder closures between Highway 29 interchange and 51st Avenue. Traffic is utilizing the temporary roadway.

Work Completed (week of 6/23): Contractor set girders over WIS 29, began deck formwork, graded median around piers, landscaped slopes on west approach and roundabout, and installed concrete pavement for stage 2 roundabout construction.

Work Lookahead (week of 6/30): Contractor will continue deck formwork, remove temporary concrete barrier wall, and install bullnose guardrail around median pier.
